Thanks to Edelweiss+ and Avon for providing an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Dani was waiting for the universe to give her a hint, but she didn’t realize that it’d come in the form of the security guard she had been flirting with saving her from the stalled elevator. The video of her rescue from the apparent ex-rugby hottie, Zafir Ansari went viral and they’ve been deemed Dr. Rugbae.
Being seen as a couple is doing wonders for the charity he runs, but Dani isn’t looking for anything serious, she’s not looking for anything at all, but the way that this handsome romance novel-reading hottie makes her feel is nothing short of a gift from the universe.
I didn’t think that this could top Get a Life, Chloe Brown but here we are. Take a Hint, Dani Brown is currently my favorite book of The Brown Sisters. Seriously, Talia, you already had be grabbing up all of your backlist titles but making me want to actually complete a series? That’s pretty amazing in my opinion.
If you’re a fan of a confident nerdy bisexual POC MC, you will love Dani Brown. I aspire to the greatness that is Dani Brown, her swagger and her confidence plus her vulnerability. The combination of it makes her so human and so relatable.
If you’re a fan of a soft boy with hard edges, you’ll love Zafir Ansari. He’s thoughtful, caring and supportive plus he reads romance novels. Be still, my beating heart. There’s something so sexy and also admirable about him. You just want to grab him and give him a hug. He is truly too precious for this world.
This novel has biting wit that will make you laugh out loud, enough steam to fog up your glasses and enough heart to turn you into a puddle by the end. It has everything you could ever want in a romance title. Dr. Rugbae is definitely goals.
