I was initially going to give this a 4 but I decided on a 3 after looking at other reviews. There was A LOT to take in.
First off as far as I’m aware the love triangle is alive and well though it did shift a number of times through the book. I wasn’t entirely sure who was going to be end game, well, actually if you look at the names of the rest of the books you can kind of guess who is end game. I feel like a lot of the characters act out of character through most of these books and certain moments were added just to fuel drama.
I can’t really add more because it’d be a total spoiler, but when you read the book you’ll notice. That’s one of the reasons that people hate love triangles. They are completely unrealistic, I really doubt someone is going to sit by and let the person they supposedly love go off with someone else until they decide who they want to be with. Have a little self respect.
Anyway, I haven’t read the third book in the series yet so I can’t comment on this book being completely unnecessary to the plot, but given the names again I think it’s safe to say we know where things are going.
