Tadano decided after getting into a prestigious high school he would try his best to fade into the background. That is until he meets Komi, the most beautiful girl in the school. From their first meeting he believes that he’s offended her from her silence, but Komi just can’t communicate. She can’t even form words to introduce herself. After figuring this out he has decided to help her make 100 friends.
I was so lucky that my library had this manga, it’s one of the few series that they have in ebook form and I really wanted to try it out before I bought it. I’m so glad I did because this is going to be an autobuy for me.
Komi is so sweet! To everyone she’s this beautiful high school princess, but on the inside she’s trying her hardest to talk people, but she’s terrified. She visibly shakes and stammers when she tries. You root for her every step of the way as she attempts to open up with the help of Tadano. She’s portrayed as being timid like a cat and at times is drawn with little cat ears and a tail.
The art is beautiful and the story is so endearing while still having a little bit of sass. It’s cute and funny. I can’t wait to read more. I decided I’m going to actually pick up the manga because it was a little difficult to read digitally due to some of the smaller print on the panels.
